My Journey of Passing Relationships

One landscape after the other is passing by. It’s drizzling continuously. I'm somewhere in Nagpur. I’m on purpose not writing my exact location. Because I don’t want to remember the place. I want to remember the feelings.

Every landscape that passed by and is passing by, is the ultimate treasure of existence. The most valuable pearl. But you do not stop to grab that pearl. You let it pass. May be that’s what makes it so valuable. You allow it to enrich you for a moment and then you let it go. That’s what journey is all about.

If we could look at relationships that way. If we all knew relationships are to pass by. One after the other. We would treasure them a bit more. When we have them, we forget that this too will pass. We take it for granted, and let dust accumulate over its shine. And only when they pass, is when we remember we had forgotten to clean that dust…and to cherish the pearl it was. But what if we looked at relationships with the eyes of a traveller every moment? Would we cherish them more? One of us is definitely passing, the landscape or us.
